Law Enforcement Partnership Program
CrimeEye partners with local police and sheriff's departments to give community tips a verified, direct channel to real investigators — at no cost, with no obligation, and no integration required with any department's existing systems.
What we provide
- A verified liaison account for your department, clearly marked as an official, verified law enforcement presence in the app — distinct from anonymous community posts.
- The ability for your designated liaison(s) to post official "Investigation Requests" on specific cases, visible to app users with your department's name and case number attached.
- Access to any tips submitted by app users specifically in response to your request, limited to tips where the submitter has explicitly opted in to sharing their information with investigators.
What you're not obligated to do
- You're under no obligation to respond to, act on, or monitor any content on the app beyond what your department chooses to post.
- This is not a 911, dispatch, or emergency-response system, and is not integrated with any department systems (CAD, RMS, or otherwise).
- You may designate as many or as few liaison accounts as you wish, and may pause or stop using the app at any time.
How it starts
Every partnership begins with a 90-day pilot period. At the end of it, we simply revisit — continue on the same terms, adjust anything that isn't working, or part ways. No long-term commitment upfront.
Usage during the pilot (like how many Investigation Requests a department can post per month) is set individually per partner — similar to how CrimeEye's own Enterprise plan is custom-quoted rather than one-size-fits-all.
Scope
Partnerships apply within the partnering department's jurisdiction. CrimeEye limits its real-time local incident-reporting feature to jurisdictions where an active partnership is in place.
Data handling
Tips shared with a partner department are limited to those where the submitter explicitly consented to sharing. CrimeEye does not share submitter contact information unless the submitter explicitly provided it and consented to contact. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
